Greetings I am a bureaucrat from the Grancrest-Senki Wiki. I was wondering if you are interested in affiliating with Grancrest wiki as were are very intrigued with the layout and presentation of you wiki. Our series are created by A1-Pictures, so the affiliation would be big advantage to both our wikis.
Affiliate programs are a great way to boost your Google search ranking and increase your wiki’s traffic. Swapping links with our wiki and external sites can help quickly expand your community network and increase your visibility.
This is a great way to promote your wiki and ours, so I really hope you consider our request and I hope to hear a positive response as soon as possible.
It's the main assemble on these types of wikis. People come in for anime's hype and they leave as soon as its over. I personally created this out of my appreciation for the series and will probably finish it at one point.
I've looked over some of your edits and contributions on other wikias. You seem to be a trusted user, so I'll grant you administrative rights. Just make sure the main page doesn't stand out too much from the rest of the wiki (in regards to appearance, color choice, etc.).
Also, do we really need a navigation template for episodes? There's only 12 plus an episode list.
Would you happen to know somebody that's good with designing logos? I once asked wiki staff for help and according to their rules, a wiki has to have at least 50 complete articles before they could even consider lending a hand.
I'm talking about design in general. We need a background, favicon and a wiki wordmark.
For the favicon, I was thinking that blue butterfly we always see when Revival is activated would be the best choice. Wiki wordmark can just easily be a written title of the show, just with the additional word "wiki".
IDK what we can use for a background. Any particular thoughts on this?
I will try to do the butterfly, and wordmark. I can't find any good res pic for the background. Do you have any? I like the poster of grown up Satoru on left and young Kayo on the right.
Actually, PNG is killing me. The file size is a bit large. You can always replace it if you want. I would like to suggest to put JPG format in the main page because it takes less time to load for slow internet visitors.
It's a small wiki, we have nothing to gain with more contributors if no one contributes. We certainly don't need to use shinny things to catch a few birds. According to wiki's stats, over 100,000 users passed through here and only few actually decided to contribute.
There are already sections for administrators. I've even made a direct category and the welcoming message on a wiki is directly linked to an administrator.
Greetings To You! I Have Come To Bother You Yet Again But Please Bear With Me. Um, So Things In The Anime Proceed Quite Differently Compared To The Manga. And So, I Was Wondering What I Should Do About Adding Things On The History Section Of The Characters.
I'm in the middle of it. It's not repetitive if you, for example, add the character's palce in the story on both their respective article and on a chapter/episode page.
Also, you're not bothering me, I'm the founder. I'm here to help out as much as I can. You don't require my permission to do anything around here, just as long as it's not spam and vandalism. If you're not sure about something, feel free to run it by me at any given time. I'll reply to you as soon as I'm available.
You can't post full length videos of episodes, specials, music, etc.
When posting images, you need to title them with what's exactly on them in few short words. They have to be in .png and you have to remove those black borders before posting. Same with size, they have to contain appropriate resolution and image quality.
It's because of the cookies. It takes some time for the wiki to process dead links into active ones and vice versa. If you want to do it immediately, just open up the article's classic page editor and save it again without making any changes. The links should be registered afterwards.
Hey there, I just found out there is a wiki for this and I saw it's hardly edited. I have high knowledge about editing wikias (http://kagerouproject.wikia.com for example, leading it) and wanted to know if I'm allowed to create some templates and add some infos to the pages to help out. The anime is getting quite popular these days so I'd love to help making this wiki pretty if you're okay with it!
Feel free to expand the wiki as much as you want. It's a free encyclopedia after all. Run the templates and categories by me first and we only use portable templates for infoboxes. Spoiler template's not needed. This is a wiki, it's quite clear you're gonna run into something with major plot details.
That may be what you think is common sense, but from what I've experienced from leading 4 wikis is that all wikis are handled differently with spoilers. Some will leave spoilers in made spoiling sections which you can hide but if you openly write everything down on the sites you will need a spoiler warning on at least the main website or people will complain about it. Especially when it comes to an ongoing series.
